TARKETT’S BALANCED CHOICE The Laminate ranges are part of Tarkett’s choice of sustainable solutions. It is an integrated system that allows you to balance all the competing needs environment, performance, budget), while making choices that are truly sustainable and work together aesthetically.

Our Laminate ranges are made of 84% natural, renewable material from carefully managed forests (PEFC, FSC or controlled sources). Our entire laminate flooring process is fully PEFC certified (certificate n° PEFC/04-31-07-57) and FSC accredited.

Our Laminate ranges are produced in Eiweiler, Germany. The factory applies an environmental management system (ISO 14001). Over the last year, the factory has made the following improvements: 14 % reduction in external energy consumption 18 % reduction in water consumption

Our Laminate ranges deliver valuable health, hygiene and welfare benefits: Techwear overlay makes the floor easy to clean and maintain without chemicals. Very low VOC emissions – less than 10 μg/m3 after 28 days – more than 100 times below demands in European Standard (1000 μg/m3), contributing to good indoor air quality (tested by Deutsche Institut für Bautechnik) Very low formaldehyde emissions, 0.01 ppm (at detection level). Quick and easy product installation with no need for glue (convenient click system). Solutions for special applications, e.g.slip resistance (R10 on Select 933) and acoustic needs (Soundlogic and SRS ranges, Δ Lw 18-20dB). Environmental performance is confirmed by the label ‘Der Blaue Engel’ (Germany)

Used flooring can be removed and reused or used as an energy source. Approximately 95 % of the sawdust and wood waste from production are recycled as energy. This corresponds to 55% of all energy consumed.
